World famous Dinner in the Sky® will visit stunning Vienna again for a few days during the summer of 2015.

Presented across continents, the idea and concept of Dinner in the Sky® event is to offer unforgettable fine dining experience in the sky – together with exclusive atmosphere, breathtaking view to city and cuisine from the top chefs.

Event series will be held in Vienna, where the table with 22 guests will be suspended at a height of 50 meters by a team of professionals, with a guest chef and waiting team serving from the center of the table, to enjoy their life’s most unique and special meal – together with their relatives and friends. It’s truly a gastronomic experience like no other!

The event will feature different top chefs. During the dinners, in the evening session, the „chef of the day“ personally will join the guests at the height of 50 meters to serve and talk about his food and menu. This exclusive atmosphere with extraordinary food and face-to-face contact with exceptional chefs will create everlasting impression and breathtaking memories to everybody.

Martins Ritins Dinner in the Sky

For more than 20 years Mr. MĀRTIŅŠ RĪTIŅŠ has been a star in the Latvian culinary sky. British-born Latvian, grew up in the industrial town of Corby, before moving to London to become a chef. Then he spent many years in Toronto, Canada, where he continued his love for organic food which was inbred from his mothers love of the garden.

He runs the most famous fine dining establishment restaurant “Vincents”. Since 1994, his restaurant has grown to become one of the premier gourmet establishments in Eastern Europe. Vincents has been voted as the best restaurant in Latvia 2013 and 2014 as well as one of the best restaurants in Northern Europe. Restaurant’s haute cuisine, unrivaled commitment to produce quality and service and chef Martins himself is well known among celebrities and politicians, royal families and presidents and most important among people who celebrate la dolce vita.

For 20 years Chef Martins has worked very hard, gathering experiences, knowledge and novelties around the globe and brought back only the best. Our staff members have been working and practicing in best Michelin stared restaurants the world (NOMA, ALINEA etc.) and our sommelier has been nominated as 2 times best sommelier of Baltic and is winner of Trophée Ruinart Europe.

Luciano Monosilio Dinner in the Sky

Alessandro Pipero is one of the big-names in the Italian cuisine panorama: he is well-known and appreciated as a successful maître and sommelier. Since 2011 he leads the restaurant called Pipero al Rex, which is nowadays considered as a pillar of finest quality Italian cuisine. In November 2012 restaurant received its first Michelin star, just one year after opening.

Alessandro moved in October 2011 to Rome, to lead the restaurant of the historic hotel Rex. This is the time for a new chef: the young Luciano Monosilio, born 1984. He is running the kitchen. In his brief and successful career, Luciano experienced working with Roscioli brothers and many other celebrated chefs such as Uliassi and Pierangelini. Just a month after the opening of Pipero al Rex, Luciano gained his first Michelin star. He hasn’t stopped yet: choosen by Gambero Rosso as the “Emerging chef of 2012”; in 2014 he was awarded as “best chef under 30 San Pellegrino”, according to the international guide “Identità golose”.

Roland Huber Dinner in the Sky

ROLAND HUBER is executive chef of Grand Hotel Restaurant Le Ciel in Vienna, Austria. ROLAND HUBER definitely is the showman, he is cool in any case. And coolness is the stressful business behind the stove, means the world to him. The keys to success for Huber are perfect ingredients. The upper Austrian had subsequently only the best teachers for his high ambitions: the legendary Pfefferschiff in Hallwang, Huber started the steps of career in the exciting world of high cuisine. Heinz Winkler later discovered his sense of taste. Heinz Reitbauer motivated him to creative ideas. And Dieter Müller finalized his cooking perfection.
Being renowned chef ROLAND HUBER has won the 1st place in Junge Wilde 2008 competition, 3 hats (17 points) with Gault Millau and 94 points with A la Carte.

Harald Brunner Dinner in the Sky

Harald Brunner is well known in Vienna as a pioneer of fusion cuisine and a veteran of the Viennese restaurant scene. With his motto: “I love life and that feeling I want to pass on to you.” conjures Harald Brunner not only a culinary experience at the plate to his guests but especially set fire to his ” joie de vivre”.
After his culinary experience in the restaurant Brunner in the Sky restaurant Vienna Twin Towers, he is now – once again – the pioneer of his time. In the footsteps of the Slow Food, he goes his own way, with private cooking or in supporting new dining establishments in the implementation of innovative culinary concepts.
Harald Brunner is currently introducing his innovative culinary concept in the winery Spätrot in Gumpoldskirchen with only slow-food and bio products.

For Thomas Flicek Dinner in the Sky is a challenging variety , and also offers a unique workspace in the fresh air in about 50 meters altitude. The exciting thing about Dinner in the Sky is for him to serve the food despite influencing factors, such as wind conditions and temperature differences.

  •  Minimum height of the guest must be at least 1.50 m
  • An adult must accompany guest who is under age of 18 years old
  • Experience is possible for wheelchair users and people with mild disabilities
  • No alcohol will be served to minors

  • Please inquire vegetarian menu and report any food allergies in advance
  • Guests who appear to be intoxicated will not be permitted to board the Dinner in the Sky restaurant due to safety reasons
  • Unaccompanied children will not be permitted to participate
  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the indicated time of your lift
  • If you arrive late, your reservation will be canceled with no refund
  • Don’t forget to take your booking confirmation with you
